Soccer Sequence No.4

Please note that this week's Soccer Sequence may change in the near future. Of the numbers below, the 4th number in the sequence may change; but probably will not. The others are fixed but may be overtaken. Confused? Me too.

49, 48, 44, 40, 30, 30, 30, 29, 28, 27

Good luck. And why not try my other Soccer Sequences.

  2. Top goalscorers for England. The fourth player is Michael Owen, so his may change. The others (Bobby Charlton, Gary Lineker, etc. are fixed, but may change)

  7. Top England International goalscorers...
    49 goals - Charlton B
    48 goals - Lineker
    etc
40 is Michael Owen - still an active player, but not called-up for England under Capello.
Rooney has 25 and will surely climb the rankings quicker than Omar Little cando a stick-up job.

  14. Another excellent collection of correct answers. The Soccer Sequence is the number of goals scored by England's top scorers in Internationals as at September 2009.My favourite player from the list? The great Jimmy Greaves. 44 goals in 57 appearances.
