Change on the North Line

I enjoyed watching  Mariella Frostrup interviewing  George Pelecanos on the Book Show. He came across very well. I liked his comment that life is not short; it is a long journey and we all have the chance to re-create ourselves. He discussed the Wire and his latest novel, The Way Home. He also choose his favourite book of the last decade. It is Northline by Willy Vlautin, the singer and songwriter with indie band Richmond Fontaine.   The most famous Willy since Mr. Young and that cuddly whale.
