I don’t care about the balance of each country’s squad, the tactics required to succeed in the group stages, the future of each manager, player's boot sponsorship deals, the influence of altitude, the number of tattoos on show or the special powers of the Jabulani football. I am just looking forward to watching a player who can drop his shoulder and lose a couple of defenders or a player who can pass a football through the eye of a needle.
